The Yukon Spin Free Kit (SKU YA WU-15) is a front hub conversion for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models. It swaps the factory unit bearings for tapered bearings and races and adds locking hubs.
What it does
Yukon says the kit makes the front end easier and cheaper to service than the factory unit bearings, and cuts parasitic drag in the drivetrain, which it says helps fuel economy. The low-profile locking hubs let you change between 2WD and 4WD quickly.
What is in the kit
- Front double-drilled rotors
- Heavy duty 4340 chromoly outer axles, 30 spline
- Yukon Hardcore locking hubs, listed as Dana 44 hubs
- The other components needed to install it, per the manufacturer
Rear rotors are not included and are sold separately.
What you need to have
- 5 x 5.5 inch wheels
- A wheel pilot diameter of at least 105 mm (4.130 inches)
Watch out if you have a 2007-2011 JK
Stock 2007-2011 Dana 30 front axles have smaller u-joints. Yukon says those need 1350 series inner axles to be used with this kit, so check what is in your front axle before you order.
