This is the Yukon 3.73 ring and pinion set, YG D44RS-373RUB, for the front Dana 44 in 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon models. It is a reverse rotation, short pinion, 24-spline set.

3.73 is the numerically lowest of the six ratios Yukon lists for this axle (3.73, 4.11, 4.56, 4.88, 5.13 and 5.38), so it gives the least gear reduction of the six.

Check before you order

• This set is for the Rubicon front axle. The rear Dana 44 in the JK takes a different Yukon set (the D44JK series), so do not order this one for the rear.
• Front and rear axles need the same ratio. If the rear is already geared, match it to 3.73 or plan to change both.
• Confirm you have the Rubicon front Dana 44 before ordering, and that you are replacing a reverse rotation short pinion set.
