Check before you order

• This is the rear set. The Rubicon front Dana 44 uses a reverse rotation, short pinion set instead (the D44RS series), so it is not a match for the front.
• Front and rear ratios have to match. If the front axle is already geared to 3.73 you are set, otherwise plan to do both.
• Confirm the rear axle is the Dana 44 with a 24-spline pinion before you buy.

The set is a ring gear and a pinion only. A retailer lists the bearing install kit, crush sleeve eliminator and pinion install kit as separate parts, and you will need to plan for them.

Installation
