This is the Yukon Grizzly Locker for Dana 60 axles with 35 spline shafts and 4.56 and up gearing, part number YGLD60-4-35.
Fitment
- Dana Spicer 60 with 35 spline axle shafts
- Ratio: 4.56 and up only, which is the 4-series carrier. If you run 4.10 or lower, the matching 35 spline part is YGLD60-3-35.
- Not compatible with c-clip axles
What it does
This is a mechanical locking differential. It splits power 100 percent to both tires and can disengage while you are turning. It needs no compressor, solenoid or wiring, so the install is a carrier swap and nothing else to run.
Built for hard use
Yukon uses a forged case and 8620 internals. The clutch teeth are shaped with a larger radius at the base, which Yukon says gives up to 350 percent more strength than back-cut designs and helps it survive shock loading and axle breakage. It is assembled in the USA and aimed at crawling, trail, off-road racing and drag use.
Check before you order
- Ratio: 4.56 and up only. Pull the tag or count the ring and pinion teeth if you are not sure.
- Spline count: this is the 35 spline version. The 40 spline Dana 60 locker is a different part.
- Axle type: c-clip axles are not supported.
- The listing is for the locker only. Install kits from Yukon are separate.
