This is the Yukon Grizzly Locker for Dana 60 axles with 35 spline shafts and 4.10 and down gearing, part number YGLD60-3-35.
Fitment
- Dana Spicer 60 with 35 spline axle shafts
- Ratio: 4.10 and down only, which is the 3-series carrier. With 4.56 or higher gearing, use YGLD60-4-35.
- Not compatible with c-clip axles
What it does
This is a mechanical locking differential. Both tires get 100 percent of the power, and it can disengage while you are negotiating turns. No compressor, solenoid or wiring is involved.
Materials and design
The case is forged and the internals are 8620. Yukon's tooth design has a larger radius at the base of the inner clutch teeth, which it says is up to 350 percent stronger than back-cut designs and holds up to shock loading. Assembled in the USA, and aimed at crawling, trail running, off-road racing and drag racing.
Check before you order
- Ratio must be 4.10 or lower.
- Axle shafts must be 35 spline. The 40 spline version is YGLD60-3-40.
- No c-clip axles.
- This is the locker only. Yukon install kits are sold separately.
