The Yukon Grizzly Locker for the rear Dana 44 in a non-Rubicon Jeep JK, part number YGLD44-3-30-JK, fits 30 spline axles and needs no air or wiring.
Fitment
- Jeep JK non-Rubicon rear Dana 44, 30 spline. Retailer fitment guides list 2007 to 2018 two-door and Unlimited models.
- Drilled for 1/2-inch ring gear bolts.
- Yukon notes that 2012 and newer applications with stability control need aftermarket ECU tuning to prevent codes and limp mode.
- Retailer guides list 2007 to 2011 JKs and 2012 to 2018 with a manual transmission, and leave out 2012 to 2018 automatics. Check your year and transmission.
How it works
The Grizzly is a mechanical, positive-locking differential. It delivers 100 percent of the power to both rear tires and can disengage while you negotiate turns.
Construction
It has a forged case, 8620 internals and Yukon's tooth design with a larger radius at the base of the clutch teeth, which Yukon says is up to 350 percent stronger than back-cut designs. Assembled in the USA.
Check before you order
- Confirm the rear axle is a non-Rubicon Dana 44 with 30 splines.
- Check your model year, transmission and stability control setup as noted above.
- The listing is for the locker only. Bearings and install kits are separate.
Yukon lists a one-year warranty on Grizzly Lockers, with conditions. California Proposition 65 warning: this product can expose you to chemicals including arsenic, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer.
