This listing is specifically configured for the TorqueFlite TF-6 (904 / 999) transmission. Every Winters Sidewinder comes completely assembled in a standard black plastic console with a 60-inch (5 ft) double clip push-pull cable, transmission-specific install kit, and all hardware required for installation.
Why the Winters Sidewinder?
The Sidewinder uses a precision-machined steel gate that physically guides the shift handle through each gear position no springs, no ratchets, no guessing. This provides positive gear engagement and makes it mechanically impossible to accidentally shift into reverse from any forward gear. A sturdy steel guard bars the shifting rod from all other positions except first, second, or third. When you want reverse, only you can put it there. The result is a shifter that is simple, durable, and completely predictable in the most aggressive driving environments.
