The 4.5 inch X-Factor X2 Flat Belly is Rock Krawler's long arm system for the Wrangler Unlimited LJ. Rock Krawler calls it the industry's only full flat belly long arm system, with all of the arms tucked up inside the frame. It uses an independent 3-link front and a double triangulated 4-link rear, and every control arm gets joints good for 95 degrees of misalignment or more.

Why this system
- Full flat belly layout: all of the arms tuck up inside the frame.
- Independent 3-link front and double triangulated 4-link rear. Rock Krawler says the X2 geometry adds more double triangulation to the rear than its earlier X-Factor long arm, for better stability.
- Adventure Series joints on the frame side of the lower control arms cut down maintenance, and the one-piece BASF thermo-elastomer Pro-X Krawler joints complete the system for 95 degrees of misalignment or more on each control arm.
- Tuned triple-rate coil springs front and rear, with Pro front sway bar disconnects.
- Upgradeable to coilovers, stretch systems or Rockzilla.
- Lifetime warranty coverage, and Rock Krawler describes an abuse proof lifetime warranty on all hard parts.
Pick your package
- Base System (No Shocks). The kit as listed above with no shocks, for the builder who already has shocks picked out. Bump stops come with every shock package; if you go with no shocks they are ordered separately.
- Bilstein 5100 Shocks. The kit plus a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks, which Rock Krawler calls maintenance free and a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs. Rock Krawler's Bilstein package numbers for this kit are RRD04061-B51 (front) and RRD04066-B51 (rear).
Fitment and what else you'll need
Fits the 2004 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited LJ with the 4.0 Inline 6 Cylinder engine. Gas models only.
- Typical wheel fitment for a 12.5 inch wide tire on a 8 inch to 9 inch wide wheel with 3.75 inches of backspacing or less for stock axle applications.
- If you source your own shocks, Rock Krawler's generic lengths are 18 inches collapsed to 30 inches extended up front and 16.375 inches collapsed to 26.375 inches extended in the rear.
- Rock Krawler highly recommends an anti-rock rear sway bar.
- Designed for OEM axles and OEM axle control arm mounting widths (Dana 30/44). For use with axles that will not be able to achieve OEM lower control arm mounting widths please call as it will require customized lower control arm bend profiles similar to how we do Rockzilla systems and upgrades.
- Requires a SYE with C.V. Driveshaft.
- With long rear uppers, a custom cat back exhaust is required.
- Requires removal of the OEM rear upper control arm mounts off the rear axle.
- Rock Krawler recommends using rear shock relocation brackets or rear shock shifters for some applications.
- Requires Artec or Motobilt HD body mounts that raise the body 1.25 inch and a small motor mount lift or 1.5 inch body lift/motor mount lift or greater.
- Remember to combine suspension lift height and body lift height or body mount replacement and your total lift height to achieve your desired overall all tire clearance.
Rock Krawler lists lifetime warranty coverage on this system.
