Lift height is the easy part. This 2.5 inch Drive Right system for the Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door is built around getting the geometry right once the Jeep is up in the air. An adjustable front track bar and a raised rear track bar bracket recenter both axles, and high-clearance adjustable front lower control arms let you set caster and cross-caster without shortening the wheelbase. It is the entry point to Rock Krawler's mid-arm line, and Rock Krawler says it can be upgraded to the Adventure-X Mid-Arm system later without starting over.
Rock Krawler bases its lift heights on Rubicon models in a standard build, meaning a front bumper and winch, a rear bumper and a full-size spare.

Why this system
- Adjustable front track bar and raised rear track bar bracket recenter both axles, which Rock Krawler says removes dog tracking
- High-clearance adjustable front lower control arms set caster and cross-caster while keeping the wheelbase where it belongs
- Triple-rate coils tuned for the application give a smooth highway ride with the travel for off-road traction
- Spring correction pads cut coil bow and build in lean correction so the Jeep sits level on all four corners
- Improved rear roll center for steadier handling
- Upgrade path to the Adventure-X Mid-Arm system as the build grows
Pick your package
- Base System (No Shocks): the full kit with no shocks, for builds where you already have shocks picked out.
- Bilstein 5100 Shocks: A maintenance-free shock that Rock Krawler describes as a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs.
- Stage 1 (RRD 2.25 Inch IFP Shocks): Rock Krawler's in-house shock with a 2.25 inch O.D. hard anodized fluted aluminum body, a 3/4 inch 17-4 PH stainless steel hard chrome plated shaft, a billet aluminum valve circuit, dual DU shaft bearings and double redundant sealing. It is serviceable, rebuildable and revalveable.
- Stage 2 (RRD 2.25 Inch FCD Shocks): Everything in the IFP shock plus a Fast Compression Damping (FCD) adjuster, up to a 30 percent increase, so you can fine-tune ride quality and handling.
Rock Krawler's generic shock lengths for this system are front 16.5 inch collapsed and 26 inch maximum extended and rear 15.3 inch collapsed and 24.31 inch maximum extended, which is handy if you plan to shop for your own shocks.
Fitment and what else you'll need
Fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door models.
- If building with a spare delete we recommend dropping 1 inch in coil lift height for the rear.
- If building an overland or heavily up-fitted build in the back, we recommend upsizing 1 inch in coil lift height for the rear.
- We recommend a new front driveshaft if you plan to off-road routinely. (Adam's Driveshaft, Tom Woods, J.E. Reel)
Tire guidance from Rock Krawler: 33 or 35 inch tall tires with full OEM fenders, 37 inch tall tires with flat fenders. They typically recommend 4.5 inch of backspacing with 33 and 35 inch tires and 3.5 inch with 37 inch tires.
Rock Krawler backs this system with lifetime warranty coverage.
