Rock Krawler 2.5 Inch Adventure X No Limits System - Jeep Wrangler JLU 392
JL25AXMNL-392
The 2.5 inch Adventure X No Limits is Rock Krawler's adjustable-arm mid-arm system with one specific addition for the 4-door Wrangler JLU (392 HEMI): front sway bar links designed for the factory electronic sway bar disconnect. Press the button, the bar lets go, and the links keep working with it.
What's in the kit
- (4) triple-rate coil springs
- Eight adjustable control arms (upper and lower, front and rear) with service-free Adventure Series joints
- (1) No Limits front sway bar kit
- (2) front and (2) rear spring pads
- (1) adjustable front track bar
- (2) set-length rear sway bar links
- (1) bolt-on rear track bar relocation bracket (supplied depending on the shock package)
- Bump stops (included with every shock option; sold separately if you buy the kit with no shocks)
Why this system
- Eight adjustable arms: Upper and lower arms, front and rear, with service-free Adventure Series joints and a stated 70 degrees of total misalignment. The adjustability lets you tune caster and pinion angle front and rear.
- No Limits sway bar links: The front links are built for the factory electronic sway bar disconnect on a Rubicon. They have factory-size hardware, a CNC-machined billet aluminum center and Made in USA FK Bearing heim joints, so you press the button and keep driving.
- Triple-rate coils: Four coils tuned for the application. Rock Krawler says they ride better on the street than the factory linear-rate springs, and they carry enough free length to stay seated when the axle droops, as long as you run a proper length shock.
- Spring correction pads: These take the coil bow out of the factory setup and help with vehicle lean.
- Track bar geometry: The front track bar and the rear track bar correction center both axles, and the rear roll center improves.
- Upgrade path: These kits are upgradable to Rock Krawler's long-arm system later, so you are not boxed in.
- Warranty: Rock Krawler lists lifetime warranty coverage on the kit.
Pick your package
- Base System (No Shocks): The complete kit with no shocks. Bump stops are not included on this option (Rock Krawler sells them separately). Pick it if you already have shocks picked out. Whatever you run, it needs to be a proper length so the coil stays seated.
- Bilstein 5100 Shocks: The kit plus a set of maintenance-free Bilstein 5100 shocks, which Rock Krawler describes as a good pairing with its multi-rate coils. Bump stops are included.
- Stage 1 - RRD 2.25 IFP Shocks: The kit plus Rock Krawler's in-house RRD 2.25 inch IFP shocks. The body is hard-anodized aluminum with the cooling surface of a 2.5 inch shock, the shaft is 3/4 inch 17-4 PH stainless, and the valving is billet aluminum with dual DU shaft bearings. They are serviceable, rebuildable and revalvable. Bump stops are included.
- Coilover Stage 1: Rock Krawler's Comp System. Front 2.625 inch RRD racing coilovers with remote reservoirs, paired with 2.625 inch RRD racing remote-reservoir shocks in the rear. It is a front coilover, rear coil combination for owners who want adjustability but still carry small loads or tow small trailers.
- Coilover Stage 2 - Fast CD: Comp System Stage 2. Same front coilover, rear coil layout as Coilover Stage 1, with Fast CD (compression damping) adjusters on the coilovers and rear shocks for more tuning.
Fitment and what else you will need
- Vehicle: 2018 to present Jeep Wrangler JLU 4-door, 4WD. The listing is for the 392 HEMI.
- Tires and wheels (Rubicon): 37 inch tires want about 4.5 inch backspacing and 40 inch tires about 3.5 inch. Full OEM fenders clear 37/38 inch tires, trimmed or high-lined fenders clear 40 inch tires, with a 3 inch bump stop height recommended for both.
- Lift height basis: Rock Krawler measures lift on a Rubicon with a front bumper and winch, a rear bumper and a full-size spare. If you delete the spare, drop the rear coil lift height by 1 inch. If the rear is heavily built up (overland gear), raise it by 1 inch.
- Driveshaft: Rock Krawler recommends a new front driveshaft if you off-road regularly.
- Coilover install: the coilover packages need the factory frame shock mount and the axle shock and spring mount removed, and a new coilover mount welded to the axle only. Front coilover shock travel is 12 inches (13.3 inches of axle travel) and rear shock travel is 11.5 inches (12.8 inches of axle travel). Shock towers and brackets are included.
