The Starter System is the entry point to a Rock Krawler 2 inch lift on the Gladiator, and it is built so you can grow into a full system later. It handles the geometry work that matters once you drop in taller springs (front lower arms for caster and axle position, correction seats for coil bow and lean) and leaves the adjustability for when you want it. Rock Krawler lists room for 35 to 37 inch tires, and the whole thing bolts on with no cutting or welding.

What's in the kit

  • (2) Triple rate front coil springs
  • (2) Quad rate rear coil springs
  • (2) High clearance front lower control arms made from 1.5 inch solid alloy steel with Adventure Series joints
  • (4) Coil spring correction seats

Shocks depend on the package you pick below. Bump stops are sold separately.

Why this system

  • Room for 35 to 37 inch tall tires, per Rock Krawler.
  • Triple-rate front and quad-rate rear coil springs with enough length to flex fully off-road without unseating a spring, while keeping a comfortable highway and around-town ride.
  • High-clearance front lower control arms made from 1.5 inch solid alloy steel with Adventure Series joints correct caster and front axle position.
  • Coil spring correction seats take out the spring bow built into the factory setup and correct vehicle lean.
  • Bolt-on installation, no cutting or welding.
  • Fully upgradable to any other Rock Krawler system.
  • Lifetime warranty coverage, as listed by Rock Krawler.

Pick your package

  • Gas or Diesel. Rock Krawler lists separate part numbers for the gas Gladiator and the diesel Gladiator (diesel part numbers carry a D, like JT20SS-D), so pick the one that matches your engine.
  • Base System (No Shocks). The kit as listed above with no shocks, for the builder who already has shocks picked out. Bump stops are sold separately.
  • Bilstein 5100 Shocks. The kit plus a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks. Rock Krawler calls them maintenance free and a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs. Rock Krawler's Bilstein package number for the 2.0 and 3.0 inch lifts is RRD04058-B51.
  • Stage 1 (RRD 2.25 IFP Shocks). Rock Krawler's in-house shock: a 2.25 inch O.D. military grade hard anodized fluted aluminum body with the cooling surface area of a 2.5 inch shock, a 3/4 inch 17-4 PH stainless steel hard chrome plated and polished shaft, a billet aluminum valve circuit, dual DU shaft bearings and double redundant sealing. Serviceable, rebuildable and revalveable.

Fitment and what else you'll need

Fits the 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT (4-door). Gas part numbers are for the 3.6L Pentastar V6 gas Gladiator; diesel part numbers are for the 3.0L EcoDiesel.
