The Reid Racing JK001L is the left (driver's side) heavy-duty stock replacement steering knuckle for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU with Dana 30 or Rubicon Dana 44 front axles. OEM knuckles flex under load, allowing ball joint and tie rod tapers to wallow out over time — leaving steering dangerously loose. Reid Racing knuckles are cast from the same high-strength ductile iron used across their entire product line, locking ball joints and tie rod ends firmly in place even under the harshest off-road conditions.
- Sold individually — left (driver's side) knuckle only. Order JK001R separately for the right (passenger's side).

- Tie rod gains 1.5 inches of clearance to minimize vulnerability to trail damage.
- Drag link is flipped and gains 3 inches of height — perfectly corrects steering geometry for common 3-4 inch suspension lifts. Requires an aftermarket drag link.
- Cast-in DUAL steering stops eliminate bent stop bolts that can cause U-joint and axle failures.
- Tapered tie rod holes fit OEM-size tie rod ends. Tie rod holes can be drilled to accept 3/4" heim ends.
- Antilock Brakes, Traction Control, and Electronic Stability Control systems remain fully operational.
