Recovery Ring

What is a Recovery Ring:

• A more recent innovation, a simpler design made from a single piece of aluminum.
• Primarily used with soft shackles and synthetic winch lines.
• Functions similarly to a snatch block by doubling your winch's capacity or redirecting the winch line.
• Offers a lighter, easier to use alternative to traditional snatch blocks, especially when used with synthetic rigging.
  
  In essence, recovery rings are a modern, often lighter alternative to snatch blocks, providing similar functionality for off-road recovery but designed with synthetic rigging in mind.
  
  Here's how a recovery ring (or snatch ring) works:
  Secure an anchor point and wrap a tree saver or strap around a fixed object (like a tree or a strong vehicle).

1. Attach the recovery ring: Connect the recovery ring to the anchor point using a soft shackle.
2. Run the winch line: Feed your synthetic winch line around the recovery ring.
3. Connect to the vehicle: Attach your winch hook back to an anchor point on your vehicle (often a recovery point or another soft shackle connected to a recovery point).
4. Winch: Begin the winching process to recover the stuck vehicle.
