This is a rebuild kit for Dynatrac HD balljoints on the 2018-current Jeep Wrangler JL and 2020-current Jeep Gladiator JT, SKU DT JP44-1X3050-K. It is a service kit for balljoints you already have, not a new balljoint set.
What is in the kit
Dynatrac lists new bearings, seals, clips and nuts, matched to the application. One kit has what is needed to rebuild a full set of four balljoints: upper and lower, left and right side.
Rebuilding in place
You do not have to remove the balljoints from the axle housing to rebuild them. Dynatrac says the job can be done on the vehicle with common hand tools.
Rebuild kit, balljoint set and installation kit
- Rebuild kit (this product): bearings, seals, clips and nuts for balljoints that are already installed.
- Balljoint set: the four complete balljoints for the JL and JT, Dynatrac part number JP44-2X3050-E.
- Installation kit: DT JP44-1X3050-J, a press-in aid used when installing a new set. It is not needed to rebuild joints in place.
Model years above follow Dynatrac's rebuild kit listing. Its installation kit listing gives 2019 as the first Gladiator year, so check your truck against the set you are servicing.
