The RCV Performance Ultimate 30 Spline CV Axle Set for Toyota Land Cruiser 40/55 Series 1976-1984 and 70 Series 1984-1990 is manufactured in the USA using only high-strength chromoly materials. This axle set replaces your weak Toyota axle shafts with a new high-strength design that eliminates the most common failure point on these platforms — the factory axles are designed with 30 splines at the differential but neck down to 27 splines at the CV joint. This axle set upgrades the weak 27 spline CV to a 300M 30 spline race CV, eliminating this failure point entirely.
Specifically designed for factory E-Locker applications — the long side inner shaft features 4.5 inches of splines at the differential end to properly engage the factory electric locker without modification.
Tests prove Ultimate CV Axles to be twice as strong as OEM shafts, and they are just as tough at a straight angle as they are at extreme angles where stock axles are most vulnerable. Even with big tires and big power there are no worries. Ultimate CV Axles are low maintenance and operate with a smoothness you can feel whether off-road or on the street.
