The biggest ram on Howe's list: a 3.0-inch bore, 10-inch size, listed at 9 inches of travel and double-ended. A bigger bore means more steering force for large tires.
- Bore: 3.0 inches
- Size: 10, listed at 9" travel
- Double-ended
Full hydraulic steering has no mechanical link between the wheel and the axle, so the ram has to match your axle. Howe's advice is to measure how far the axle travels side to side, pick the ram first, then the pump, and make sure the ram stops at the same moment the axle does.
Howe Performance part number 449.
