The Branik Motorsports 1550 35 Spline Chromoly Outer Axle Shaft is built for 2005-and-up Ford Super Duty F250 and F350 Dana 60 front axles. At 7.03" long, these forged 4340 chromoly outer shafts deliver unrivaled strength for the Super Duty Dana 60 platform.
The 1550 U-joint series is 30-35% stronger than the 1480 series on its own. Combined with the additional 30% strength gain from high grade 4340 chromoly construction, these outers are in a class by themselves. Available in 35 spline and 40 spline configurations. These axles come with a limited lifetime warranty when used with chromoly U-joints.
Warranty Details — Branik Motorsports will not warranty an axle shaft due to U-joint failure. Chromoly axle shafts are warranted if the shaft breaks within the main body of the shaft only. Warranty is valid to the original purchaser only and requires a copy of the original purchase invoice. All warranty claims require the broken axle to be sent to Branik at the customer's expense for inspection. Once approved, a replacement axle will be sent at no charge. In most cases chromoly axle shafts will only be warranted one time — on a second failure Branik will suggest an upgraded part and discount the upgrade accordingly.
