The Advance Adapters RubiCrawler for Jeep TJ Wrangler with stock NP231 or NP241OR transfer case is a true bolt-in gear doubler that replaces the stock 42RLE automatic overdrive tailhousing with a 6-gear planetary reduction box featuring a 2.72:1 low range. It couples directly to the factory NP231 or NP241OR transfer case that came with the vehicle — no aftermarket transfer case required.
The RubiCrawler multiplies your available gear ratios for maximum crawl control. Choosing the right gear for the terrain gives you far more control over your vehicle, making extreme off-road environments safer and more manageable.
This TJ kit includes the integrated stock transfer case shifter kit (42R-T), specifically designed for the Jeep TJ Wrangler with NP231 or NP241OR transfer cases.
Kit includes: RubiCrawler 2.72:1 Unit and RubiCrawler Shifter for TJ with NP231/NP241OR (42R-T).
Note — the RubiCrawler Control Module (42R800) is not included in this kit. If your application requires the electronic interface, it is available separately.
