Advance Adapters Atlas 2-Speed Transfer Case — Trail Series (Universal Custom Build)
Atlas Transfer Case Builder (Trail Series)
The Advance Adapters Atlas 2-Speed Trail Series Transfer Case is the industry benchmark for gear-driven transfer case performance. With over 30,000 units sold since its introduction in 1995, the Atlas has won over the off-road world for one reason — it flat out works. Whether you are rock crawling, mudding, desert racing, or building the ultimate trail rig, the Atlas delivers the strength, reliability, and low-range control that chain-driven factory transfer cases simply cannot match.
The Trail Series features a 1.25 inch idler gear design optimized for daily drivers and weekend trail rigs. Available low-range gear ratios are 3.0:1, 3.8:1, 4.3:1, and 5.0:1. The Trail Series is recommended for most stock and mildly built vehicles running under 600 horsepower and up to 42 inch tires. For race competition vehicles, high-horsepower builds, or tires larger than 42 inches, see the Atlas G2 Pro Series sold separately, which features a larger 1.5 inch idler and 300M output shafts.
The one-piece case is manufactured from 356-T6 heat-treated aluminum alloy. Weight is 110 lbs dry. Internal gears are massive helical-cut units supported by needle bearing elements and precision-matched 8620 steel shafts for quiet, smooth operation. BorgWarner synchronizers provide reliable shift-on-the-fly capability. Large taper roller bearing sets support the output shafts for long-term durability.
