The Advance Adapters 1-5/8" Spacer/Rotation Ring (SKU AS-0220) is the largest spacer in this fitment-correction family, and it's specifically an adapter ring for Ford transfer case applications. Like the smaller spacers in the lineup, it solves the same core problem: some transmissions have a positive "stick-out" on their output shaft relative to the edge of the rear tailhousing or adapter, which causes the shaft to bottom out when installing an Atlas.
Trimming the output shaft down is the usual fix, but it isn't always the right move — some transmissions don't have enough splines on the main shaft to allow for it, or you may simply not want to modify the shaft. At 1-5/8" thick, this is the largest spacing option in the series, built specifically for Ford transfer case fitment.
