The Fox Performance Series 2.0 IFP Front Coilover (part number 983-02-054) is a direct bolt-on front coilover designed for 2005-and-up Nissan Frontier and Xterra (2WD and 4WD) and 2005–2012 Nissan Pathfinder (2WD and 4WD). Provides 0 to 2 inches of front lift.

Important Notes:

• Spring rate is 400 lb/in — lower than the factory spring rate, delivering a softer on-road ride and improved low-speed off-road comfort over the factory shock and spring
• Not recommended for vehicles with heavy aftermarket front bumpers or winches — the 400 lb/in spring rate is not designed for the added front-end weight
• Recommended maximum tire size is 285/75R16 or 285/70R17 on an 8" wide wheel with 5.00" of backspacing

Coilover Design: The coil spring comes pre-set from the factory to level the vehicle front-to-rear. Locking spring preload rings allow easy ride height and preload adjustment without tools. A vehicle-specific upper mount with composite bushing isolates noise and vibration for a quiet, comfortable ride.

IFP Mono-Tube Design: The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) mono-tube reservoir design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas charge, eliminating oil aeration and the fade associated with conventional twin-tube shocks.
