The Rock Krawler 3 Inch Pro X System is more than a lift kit for the 6th gen Bronco. It swaps the weak factory components for stronger ones, adds a triangulated 4 link rear that does away with the rear track bar, and puts RRD 2.625 inch remote reservoir coilovers on all four corners. The lift is adjustable from 2 to 3 inches, which suits 35 to 37 inch tires with the factory fenders.
What's in the kit
- (2) front 2.625 inch remote reservoir coilover assemblies
- (2) rear 2.625 inch remote reservoir coilover assemblies
- (2) fabricated front upper A arms
- (4) adjustable solid alloy steel rear control arms
- (1) weld-on rear axle truss
Why this system
- Triangulated 4 link rear. It allows amazing articulation without bind and lets you remove the rear track bar. The rear instant center and roll center are both improved for highway ride and handling.
- RRD 2.625 inch remote reservoir coilovers for adjustable lift heights, with a 30 percent or better gain in suspension travel and damping capacity.
- Multiple spring rates on a single spring. Rock Krawler says it is the first to do this for 6th gen Broncos, to help ride, handling and off-road performance.
- Hard anodized aluminum shock bodies that cool better than steel and will not rust or corrode.
- Fabricated upper A arms that correct caster and camber and account for the extra travel, with free rotating, service-free Adventure Series joints at the frame and a rebuildable quiet control joint at the upright.
- Durable black powder coat on the solid alloy steel rear control arms.
- Lifetime warranty coverage, per Rock Krawler.
Pick your package
Both stages use the same arms, coilovers and axle truss. The Package option decides whether the coilovers have Fast CD adjusters.
- Stage 1: RRD 2.625 inch remote reservoir coilovers at all four corners, with the arms and hardware listed above.
- Stage 2: Everything in Stage 1, with Fast CD adjusters on the coilovers. The adjusters let you dial in on-road and off-road damping to your own taste.
Fitment and what else you'll need
- Works on all 6th gen Broncos except the Raptor.
- Requires removing brackets off the rear axle.
- Requires welding the rear axle truss on.
- Rock Krawler highly recommends a rear sway bar, and says to add one if your Bronco did not come with it.
- Tire fitment is 35 to 37 inch tires on the OEM fender flares, and Rock Krawler typically recommends 4.5 inches of backspacing on wheels for 35 and 37 inch tires.
All RRD shocks and coilovers are designed and built in-house. Rock Krawler lists a 3 to 4 week lead time on 2.625 inch RRD shocks and coilovers, counted in business days from the order date.
Rock Krawler lists lifetime warranty coverage on this system. Its warranty page covers hard parts such as control arms and brackets for life, with shocks, joints and other wear items on shorter terms. See the warranty page for the full terms.
