Rock Krawler 3.5 Inch X Factor X2 Pro Elite Long-Arm - Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-Door
JK35X2PLA-4
The 3.5 inch X Factor X2 Pro Elite long-arm system for the Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-Door adds PB&J billet aluminum lower control arms to the X Factor X2 layout. Rock Krawler machines those arms in-house from solid square billet aluminum stock, and the upper arms are double-adjustable chromoly. The suspension is an independent 3-link at both ends.
Rock Krawler bases its lift heights on Rubicon models in a standard build, meaning a front bumper and winch, a rear bumper and a full-size spare.

Pick your package
- Base System (No Shocks): the full kit with no shocks, for builds where you already have shocks picked out.
- Bilstein 5100 Shocks: A maintenance-free shock that Rock Krawler describes as a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs.
- Stage 1 (RRD 2.25 Inch IFP Shocks): Rock Krawler's in-house shock with a 2.25 inch O.D. hard anodized fluted aluminum body, a 3/4 inch 17-4 PH stainless steel hard chrome plated shaft, a billet aluminum valve circuit, dual DU shaft bearings and double redundant sealing. It is serviceable, rebuildable and revalveable.
- Stage 2 (RRD 2.25 Inch FCD Shocks): Everything in the IFP shock plus a Fast Compression Damping (FCD) adjuster, up to a 30 percent increase, so you can fine-tune ride quality and handling.
Rock Krawler's generic shock lengths for this system are front 17.5 inch collapsed and 28 inch maximum extended and rear 16.3 inch collapsed and 26.31 inch maximum extended, which is handy if you plan to shop for your own shocks.
Fitment and what else you'll need
Fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-Door models. Rock Krawler lists it for Sport, Sahara, Willys and Rubicon trim levels.
- If building with a spare delete we recommend dropping 1 inch in coil lift height for the rear.
- If building an overland or heavily upfitted build in the back, we recommend upsizing 1 inch in coil lift height for the rear.
- Requires removal of: OEM frame side front and rear lower control arm mounts; OEM frame side front and rear upper control arm mounts; OEM rear axle side brackets; OEM frame side rear shock mount.
- Requires welding of: front and rear frame side long arm mounts; provided rear axle side control arm/shock/sway bar link bracket, track bar bracket and rear axle truss; provided frame side rear shock mount.
- Minor exhaust rerouting required before the collector on the driver's side. This is recommended to be done prior to the suspension system being installed.
- Rear shocks will require a standard bushing and sleeve just like the rear lower shock bushing and sleeve. We have removed the weakness of the bar pin setup with the supplied rear upper shock mounts.
- Recommend installing limiting straps to avoid over extension of suspension components after vehicle is all set up.
- This system allows the rear axle to be pushed back up to 1 inch over stock which perfectly centers the rear axle assembly under typical aftermarket flat fenders. It also allows for larger tires without contacting the rock sliders or rear pinch seam.
- The rear upper third link is designed around standard low pinion rear axles.
Tire guidance from Rock Krawler: 33 or 35 inch tall tires with full OEM fenders, 37 inch tall tires with flat fenders. They typically recommend 4.5 inch of backspacing with 33 and 35 inch tires and 3.5 inch with 37 inch tires.
Rock Krawler backs this system with lifetime warranty coverage.
