The 3.5 Inch Adventure System is the way into a Rock Krawler lift on the 2013-present Ram 3500 HD. The front lift comes from true multi-rate coils, the radius arms are relocated so the factory geometry still works at the new height, and the whole thing is built around 37 inch tall tires. The rear goes up on lift blocks (or air bag risers if your truck has rear air ride), so you keep the factory towing and payload capacity.
What's in the kit
- (1) HD adjustable front track bar made from 1.5 inch O.D. solid chromoly steel, with an adjustable, rebuildable anti-wobble joint at the frame and a custom 1 inch shank FK rod end at the axle
- (2) sport tuned multi-rate coil springs
- (2) heavy duty fabricated radius arm relocation mounts with built-in skid plate, laser cut from 1/4 inch steel
- (2) fabricated lift blocks
- (4) U-bolts
Shocks are the choice you make under Pick your package. Rock Krawler lists four shocks as part of the system when they are configured.
Why this system
- True multi-rate front coils. They are what give this kit its ride, handling and trail performance.
- Relocated radius arms with skid plates. The fabricated mounts are laser cut from 1/4 inch steel and have a skid plate built in.
- Adjustable front track bar. It recenters the axle side to side, and Rock Krawler says it is the strongest in the industry.
- Factory towing and payload capacity stays. Lift blocks and grade 8 U-bolts take care of the rear.
- Rear air ride keeps working on the air ride versions, with heavy gauge fabricated risers.
- Room for 37 x 13.5 inch tires. Rock Krawler sizes this system for 37 inch tall tires.
- Complete bolt-in system with the geometry corrections you need already in the box.
- Lifetime warranty coverage on the system, per Rock Krawler.
Pick your package
The lift is the same whichever box you pick. Package only changes the shocks.
- Base System: Coils, radius arm mounts, track bar, lift blocks and U-bolts. No shocks come in the box.
- Bilstein 5100 Shocks: Bilstein 5100 shocks for all four corners. Rock Krawler calls them a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs, and they are maintenance free.
- 2.625 RR Shocks: Four RRD 2.625 inch remote reservoir shocks built by Rock Krawler. The body and reservoir are fluted, military-grade hard anodized aluminum, the shaft is 1 inch 17-4 PH stainless, and the shock is serviceable, rebuildable and revalveable.
- Fast CD Adjusters: The same RRD 2.625 inch remote reservoir shocks with Fast CD adjusters and 3.25 inch reservoirs. The adjuster lets you change compression damping in seconds, up to 30 percent more with infinite settings, so you can tune for empty, loaded or towing.
Configuration tells us which truck you have. Diesel and Gas are the engine, and the Rear Air Ride choices are for trucks that left the factory with rear air ride, so the air bags keep working after the lift.
Fitment and what else you'll need
Fits the 2013-present Ram 3500 HD 4x4. Pick Diesel or Gas, and choose a Rear Air Ride configuration if your truck came with factory rear air ride. Rock Krawler lists 37 x 13.5 inch tires for this system. Its product page does not call out any extra parts you have to buy.
Rock Krawler lists a 3 to 4 week lead time on 2.625 inch RRD shocks and coilovers, counted in business days from the order date.
Rock Krawler lists lifetime warranty coverage on this system. Its warranty page covers hard parts such as control arms, track bars and mounting brackets for life, joint housings for 10 years and coil springs for 5 years against fracture. Shocks, joints and other wear items carry shorter terms, and the full terms are on Rock Krawler's warranty page.
