Why this system
- Adjustable lower control arms front and rear, plus four upper arms that adjust in the vehicle, so you can set caster and pinion angle without pulling anything off.
- Adventure Series joints at the frame connections are maintenance free; Pro Krawler joints tie in the axle connections. Together Rock Krawler quotes 95 degrees of misalignment.
- Triple-rate coil springs, with correction pads that reduce the spring bow built into the factory setup, for an excellent highway ride.
- The front track bar corrects the suspension geometry and centers the front axle, so on-road handling is not compromised.
- Three stainless steel brake lines, a drop pitman arm and track bar relocation brackets are part of the kit.
- Upgradeable to any other Rock Krawler system.
- Lifetime warranty coverage, as listed by Rock Krawler.
Pick your package
- Base System (No Shocks). The kit as listed above with no shocks, for the builder who already has shocks picked out. Bump stops come with every shock package; if you go with no shocks they are ordered separately.
- Bilstein 5100 Shocks. The kit plus a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks, which Rock Krawler calls maintenance free and a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs. Rock Krawler's Bilstein package number for this kit is RRD04063-B51.
Fitment and what else you'll need
Fits the 1997 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ with the 4.0L inline 6, 2.5L inline 4 engine(s). Gas models only.
Rock Krawler bases its lift heights on Rubicon models in a standard build (front bumper and winch, rear bumper and full-size spare). If you delete the spare, drop 1 inch of rear coil lift height; for an overland style or heavily up-fitted rear end, go up 1 inch.
- Typical wheel fitment for a 12.5 inch wide tire is a 15x8 with 3.75 inches of backspacing
- Allows for up to 33 inch tires (OEM fenders)
- Allows for up to 35 inch tires (flat fenders)
- Allows for up to 37 inch tires (high line fenders)
- If you source your own shocks, Rock Krawler's generic lengths are 15.5 inches collapsed to 26 inches extended up front and 14.3 inches collapsed to 24.5 inches extended in the rear.
- Rock Krawler recommends a new front driveshaft if you plan to off-road routinely (Adam's Driveshafts, Tom Woods, J.E. Reel).
Rock Krawler lists lifetime warranty coverage on this system.
