Pro Elite is where the mid-arm line gets serious about materials. The lower control arms are Rock Krawler's PB+J (Pure Beef and Jealousy) mid arms, machined from 2 inch by 3 inch billet 7075 aluminum, and the other control arms are machined from round 7075 aluminum with X-Factor built in. This 4.5 inch bolt-in system is aimed at Sport, Overland and Mojave Gladiators and Rock Krawler bills it as having the best articulation of any mid-arm kit on the market.

What's in the kit

  • 4 coil springs (triple-rate front, quad-rate rear)
  • 2 front billet 7075 aluminum adjustable lower control arms
  • 2 front 7075 aluminum adjustable upper control arms
  • 2 front spring pads
  • 1 front adjustable track bar
  • 2 Gen-II sway bar links
  • 2 rear billet 7075 aluminum adjustable lower control arms
  • 2 rear 7075 aluminum adjustable upper control arms
  • 2 rear spring pads
  • 2 adjustable rear sway bar links
  • 1 bolt-on rear track bar relocation bracket
  • 1 carrier bearing bracket
  • 1 rear brake line kit
  • 1 rear adjustable track bar

Shocks depend on the package you pick. Bump stops come with every shock option. Coilover packages add the shock towers and brackets they need.

Why this system

  • PB+J lower arms machined from 2 x 3 inch billet 7075 aluminum
  • Round 7075 aluminum upper arms and X-Factor adjustability, 95 degrees of total misalignment with Pro-X Krawler and Adventure Series joints
  • Caster and pinion angle can be tuned at both axles
  • Triple-rate front and quad-rate rear coils plus correction pads
  • Includes a carrier bearing bracket, a rear brake line kit and an adjustable rear track bar
  • Gen-II sway bar links

Pick your package

  • Base System (No Shocks): the lift hardware only, no shocks. Pick this if you are supplying your own shocks. Bump stops ship with each shock option, and with no shocks they can be bought separately as RK07464.
  • Bilstein 5100 Shocks: the Bilstein 5100 package, a maintenance-free option Rock Krawler says works well with its multi-rate coils. Bump stops are included.
  • Stage 1 (RRD 2.25 IFP Shocks): the in-house RRD 2.25 inch IFP shock: military grade hard anodized fluted aluminum body (cooling surface of a 2.5 inch shock), a 3/4 inch 17-4 PH stainless shaft with hard chrome plating, billet aluminum valve circuit, dual DU shaft bearings and redundant sealing. They can be serviced, rebuilt and revalved. Bump stops included.
  • Comp System Stage 1: front coilovers with a rear coil spring. Up front are 2.625 inch RRD remote reservoir coilovers (13 inches of travel for 14.44 inches of axle travel), paired with 2.625 inch RRD remote reservoir rear shocks (12 inches of travel for 15 inches of axle travel). A fit for trucks that still haul small loads or pull small trailers. Includes the rear quad-rate coils and spring correction seats.
  • Comp System Stage 2 (Fast CD): same Comp System layout plus Fast CD adjusters on the front coilovers and rear shocks, which add up to 30% more compression damping with infinite settings.
  • Trail Runner Stage 1: a coilover at every corner using 2.625 inch RRD remote reservoir coilovers. Rock Krawler says this gives the most off-road ability and a well-tuned street ride; the tradeoff is that rear coilovers do not like changing loads, so heavy bed loads and towing are not ideal.
  • Trail Runner Stage 2 (Fast CD): the Trail Runner layout with Fast CD compression damping adjusters on the coilovers.

Pick Gas for the 3.6L Pentastar V6 or Diesel for the 3.0L Eco-Diesel. Rock Krawler lists the diesel as its own diesel-specific version of this kit, so choose the one that matches your engine.

Fitment and what else you'll need

  • Fits the 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT, 4 door, 4WD, Sport, Overland and Mojave trim levels. Engine: 3.6L Pentastar V6 (gas) and 3.0L Eco-Diesel (diesel option)
  • Rock Krawler wheel guidance: Sport and Overland, 3.5 inches of backspacing with 37/38 inch tires; Mojave, 4.5 inches with 37 inch tires or 3.5 inches with 40 inch tires
  • Tire guidance (3 inch bump stop height recommended): Sport and Overland, 37 inch tall with full OEM fenders or 38 inch with trimmed or high-lined fenders; Mojave, 37/38 inch tall with full fenders or 40 inch with trimmed or high-lined fenders
  • Lift height is figured on a Rubicon with a standard build (front bumper and winch, rear bumper, full size spare). Delete the spare and Rock Krawler suggests dropping 1 inch in rear coil lift height; load up the rear overland-style and they suggest going up 1 inch
  • Rock Krawler recommends a new front driveshaft if you plan to off-road routinely (they name Adam's Driveshaft, Tom Woods and J.E. Reel)
  • Welding the rear cradle is recommended for 37 inch tires and larger
  • Coilover packages (Comp System and Trail Runner) require removal of the OEM frame shock mount and the OEM shock and spring mount on the axle, plus welding of the new coilover mount to the axle only

Rock Krawler's posted lead time when we listed this kit: 1-2 weeks for mid arm kits, counted in business days from order. Coilover packages are posted at 3-4 weeks.

Rock Krawler lists lifetime warranty coverage on its Gladiator JT systems. The RRD shocks carry their own 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
