Rock Krawler 3.0 Inch Silverback Pro Elite Long Arm System - 2020+ Gladiator JT
JT30SB2P
Silverback Pro Elite adds the bling. The lower control arms are Rock Krawler's PB+J (Pure Beef and Jealousy) arms, machined from 2 inch by 3 inch billet 7075 aluminum, on top of the same high-clearance 4-link front and triangulated 4-link rear as the standard Silverback. This is the 3.0 inch hybrid long arm kit, and Rock Krawler lists it with the Gen II front sway bar disconnects.

Shocks (or coilovers) depend on the package you pick below. The coilover pages list shock towers and brackets under the shock packages, and list the rear quad-rate coil springs and spring correction seats under the Comp System packages. Bump stops come with every shock package; if you go with no shocks they are ordered separately (Rock Krawler part RK07464).
Why this system
- Long arm geometry: a high-clearance 4-link front and a triangulated 4-link rear. The rear triangulation removes the rear track bar entirely for smoother highway handling and better axle centering.
- PB+J lower control arms, front and rear, machined from 2 inch by 3 inch billet 7075 aluminum for strength and looks.
- Fully service-free long arms with Adventure Series joints that isolate road vibration like an OE bushing, with high misalignment and no grease. The control arms are fully adjustable for caster and pinion angle.
- Triple-rate front and quad-rate rear coil springs with the free length to keep spring seat contact under extreme flex (on the coilover packages, see the notes below).
- Coil correction seats cut spring bow, and the front end gets an adjustable anti-wobble track bar.
- A Heat Shield Products Sticky Shield kit and a rear bolt-on Pro-X cradle (welding optional) are in the box.
- Lifetime warranty coverage, as listed by Rock Krawler.
Pick your package
- Base System (No Shocks). The kit as listed above with no shocks, for the builder who already has shocks picked out. Bump stops come with every shock package; if you go with no shocks they are ordered separately (Rock Krawler part RK07464).
- Bilstein 5100 Shocks. The kit plus a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks. Rock Krawler calls them maintenance free and a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs. Rock Krawler's Bilstein package number for the 2.0 and 3.0 inch lifts is RRD04058-B51.
- Stage 1 (RRD 2.25 IFP Shocks). Rock Krawler's in-house shock: a 2.25 inch O.D. military grade hard anodized fluted aluminum body with the cooling surface area of a 2.5 inch shock, a 3/4 inch 17-4 PH stainless steel hard chrome plated and polished shaft, a billet aluminum valve circuit, dual DU shaft bearings and double redundant sealing. Serviceable, rebuildable and revalveable.
- Coilover Comp System, Stage 1. Coilovers up front with coil springs and a shock in the rear. Rock Krawler lists 2.625 inch RRD racing coilovers with remote reservoirs up front (12 inches of travel, about 13.3 inches of front axle travel) and matching 2.625 inch RRD racing shocks with remote reservoirs in the rear (10.5 inches of travel, about 13.1 inches of rear axle travel). It is aimed at owners who want coilover adjustability but still carry small loads or tow small trailers. Adds shock towers and brackets, quad-rate rear coil springs and spring correction seats.
- Coilover Comp System, Stage 2 (Fast CD). The same Comp System layout and travel as Stage 1, with Fast CD (compression damping) adjusters on the front coilovers and the rear shocks for more tuning range.
- Coilover Trail Runner, Stage 1. Coilovers at all four corners: 2.625 inch RRD racing coilovers with remote reservoirs front and rear (12 inches of travel up front, about 13.3 inches of front axle travel; 11 inches of travel in the rear, up to 13.75 inches of rear axle travel). Rock Krawler notes that rear coilovers do not take changes in load well, so towing or hauling a lot of weight in the bed is not ideal.
- Coilover Trail Runner, Stage 2 (Fast CD). The Trail Runner layout with Fast CD (compression damping) adjusters on the coilovers for even more tuneability.
Fitment and what else you'll need
Fits the 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT (4-door) in Sport and Overland (Rock Krawler's pages also list Mojave and High Altitude) trims. Listed for the 3.6L Pentastar V6 gas Gladiator.
Rock Krawler bases its lift heights on Rubicon models in a standard build (front bumper and winch, rear bumper and full-size spare). For an overland style or heavily up-fitted rear end, go up 1 inch of rear coil lift height.
- Rubicon fitment recommendations: 37 inch tall tires - recommend 4.5 inches of back spacing; 40 inch tall tires - recommend 3.5 inches of back spacing
- Rubicon with full OEM fenders: 37/38 inch tall tires (3 inch bump stop height recommended)
- Rubicon with trimmed or high lined OEM fenders: 40 inch tall tires (3 inch bump stop height recommended)
- If you source your own shocks, Rock Krawler's generic lengths are 17.5 inches collapsed to 29.5 inches extended up front and 17 inches collapsed to 28 inches extended in the rear.
- Rock Krawler recommends a new front driveshaft if you plan to off-road routinely (Adam's Driveshaft, Tom Woods, J.E. Reel).
- An optional Pro-X cradle is available for Dynatrac XD60 rear axles (Rock Krawler part RK08078) and for Ultimate Dana 60 and Currie low pinion 60 rear axles (RK08068). Fusion makes its own trusses, so order theirs with the axle and remove Rock Krawler's supplied truss from the order.
- Rock Krawler recommends welding the rear cradle for use with 37 inch tires and above.
- Requires welding of the front long arm mounting system.
- Requires removal of the OEM frame side lower front control arm mounts.
- Requires removal of the OEM frame side front upper control arm mounts.
- Requires removal of the OEM axle side track bar mount.
- Rock Krawler recommends installing limiting straps to avoid over extension of suspension components after vehicle is all set up.
- Coilover packages: requires removal of the OEM shock mount of frame.
- Coilover packages: requires removal of the OEM shock and spring mount of the axle.
- Coilover packages: requires welding of the new coilover mount on the axle only.
Rock Krawler lists lifetime warranty coverage on this system. Its RRD shocks carry a 6-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
