Package

The 3.5 inch X Factor is the mid-arm kit for the Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-Door when you want more articulation than the Adventure-X can give. Adjustable upper and lower control arms offer 95 degrees of total misalignment when paired with Pro-X Krawler joints at the axle and Adventure Series joints at the frame. It is a complete bolt-in system that cuts the bind of the factory arms and still lets you tune caster and pinion angle.

Rock Krawler bases its lift heights on Rubicon models in a standard build, meaning a front bumper and winch, a rear bumper and a full-size spare.

What's in the kit

  • 4 x triple rate coil springs
  • 2 x front high clearance adjustable lower control arms
  • 2 x front adjustable upper control arms
  • 1 x adjustable front track bar
  • 2 x quick disconnect front sway bar links
  • 2 x rear high clearance adjustable lower control arms
  • 2 x rear adjustable upper control arms
  • 2 x rear spring pads
  • 2 x adjustable rear sway bar links
  • 1 x bolt-on rear track bar relocation bracket
  • 1 x front and rear extended brake lines

Bump stops come with every shock package. On the base system they are not included, but they can be bought separately (RK07123).

Why this system

  • Adjustable upper and lower control arms front and rear, with 95 degrees of total misalignment
  • Adventure Series joints at the frame end are maintenance free, and Pro Krawler joints tie in at the axle
  • Enough adjustment to tune caster and pinion angle front and rear
  • Triple-rate coils tuned for comfort on the road with a free length set for off-road articulation
  • Correction pads reduce spring bow, and front and rear track bar geometry corrections let you center the axles
  • Can be upgraded to a Rock Krawler long-arm system later

Pick your package

  • Base System (No Shocks): the full kit with no shocks, for builds where you already have shocks picked out.
  • Bilstein 5100 Shocks: A maintenance-free shock that Rock Krawler describes as a great pairing with its multi-rate coil springs.
  • Stage 1 (RRD 2.25 Inch IFP Shocks): Rock Krawler's in-house shock with a 2.25 inch O.D. hard anodized fluted aluminum body, a 3/4 inch 17-4 PH stainless steel hard chrome plated shaft, a billet aluminum valve circuit, dual DU shaft bearings and double redundant sealing. It is serviceable, rebuildable and revalveable.

Rock Krawler's generic shock lengths for this system are front 17.5 inch collapsed and 28 inch maximum extended and rear 16.3 inch collapsed and 26.31 inch maximum extended, which is handy if you plan to shop for your own shocks.

Fitment and what else you'll need

Fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-Door models. Rock Krawler lists it for Sport, Sahara, Willys and Rubicon trim levels.

  • If building with a spare delete we recommend dropping 1 inch in coil lift height for the rear.
  • If building an overland or heavily up-fitted build in the back, we recommend upsizing 1 inch in coil lift height for the rear.
  • We recommend a new front driveshaft if you plan to off-road routinely. (Adam's Driveshaft, Tom Woods, J.E. Reel)

Tire guidance from Rock Krawler: 33 or 35 inch tall tires with full OEM fenders, 37 inch tall tires with flat fenders. They typically recommend 4.5 inch of backspacing with 33 and 35 inch tires and 3.5 inch with 37 inch tires.

Rock Krawler backs this system with lifetime warranty coverage.
