This ReadyLIFT 2 inch leveling kit raises the front of the 2006-2025 Ram 1500 Classic 4WD to sit level with the rear. It uses two CNC-machined billet aluminum strut extensions that mount on top of the strut, and ReadyLIFT designs the lift height to limit premature CV joint wear. It supports up to 35 inch tires on 2006-2017 trucks.

Key features

  • CNC-machined aircraft-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum strut extensions
  • Smart Strut Technology that mounts on top of the strut, instead of a urethane spacer that compresses the spring
  • Lift height designed to limit premature CV joint wear
  • Designed specifically for Dodge Ram trucks

What's included

  • Strut extensions, CNC-machined billet aluminum (2)
  • Hardware

Fitment and compatibility

  • Fits 2006-2025 Ram 1500 Classic 4WD
  • Does not fit Ram TRX models
  • Not for use with factory air ride suspension
  • 2 inch is the right amount to level a 2009-2010 truck; more lift causes a nose-high stance. 2006-2008 and 2011-2025 trucks show roughly a 1/2 inch rake after installation
  • Trucks with more than 22 inches from wheel hub to fender lip may need less lift
  • Tire fit: 35x11.50 on a 9 inch wide wheel with +12 offset. Test fit every tire and wheel combination before installing

Installation

Allow about 3.5 hours, plus or minus 0.5, not counting alignment or wheel and tire assembly. ReadyLIFT recommends a certified mechanic. Plan on an alignment, check your headlamp aim afterward, and note that driver-assist systems may need recalibration with dealer tools.

Modifying your suspension can change handling and increase rollover risk. Always wear your seat belt. ReadyLIFT's page carries a California Proposition 65 notice naming DEHP.
