Take control of your Jeep JL’s steering with the PSC Cylinder Assist™ Steering Kit—engineered specifically for 2018–2023 Jeep JL models equipped with the 3.6L Pentastar engine and factory electric power steering. This bolt-on kit enhances off-road performance, eliminates steering fade, and provides unmatched precision even on 37″+ tires.

The kit includes PSC’s XDR Series Big Bore Steering Gearbox, which upgrades the OE 70 mm piston to an 80 mm and strengthens the sector shaft from 42 mm to 45 mm. This provides increased steering force and improved handling in extreme trail conditions. Combined with a belt-driven high-output pump that replaces the factory EHPS unit, your JL will benefit from consistent, cool-running hydraulic pressure during low-speed crawling and high-load maneuvers.

The 6.75″ stroke Cylinder Assist™ is axle-mounted and controlled by the steering gear, significantly reducing steering effort under load while improving on-center feel. The included 1–3/8″ tie rod clamp ensures compatibility with most OEM and aftermarket tie rods without welding.

Designed for OEM Dana 30/Dana 44 axles and factory geometry, this complete kit comes with hoses, hardware, a steering fluid cooler, SWEPCO hydraulic fluid, and installation instructions—making it ideal for serious trail rigs or overlanders needing reliable steering support without modifying core suspension components.
