The PSC SK689R20JP1‑6.75W‑1.5 Cylinder Assist™ Steering Kit is engineered for Jeep JL owners running a 2.0L Turbo engine (non‑eTorque) with aftermarket front axles and a 1.5″ OD tie rod—such as Currie HD60 or custom setups. Built for strength, stability, and performance, this kit transforms your JL into a steering powerhouse with greater control, less driver fatigue, and peace of mind when running 35″+ tires and lockers.

This comprehensive kit replaces the factory Electric Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS) with a proven mechanical pump system and a Big Bore XD steering gearbox. It also includes a 6.75″ stroke assist cylinder and a 1.5″ tie rod clamp for secure, accurate mounting.

Kit Includes:

  • Big Bore XD Gearbox (SG689R) – PSC’s upgraded 80mm piston gearbox for increased steering torque and durability.

  • Hydraulic Cylinder (CAK689R-6.75W) – 6.75″ stroke ram that matches the steering arc of most aftermarket axles.
