The Clayton Off Road 8.0" Long Arm Lift Kit with Rear Coil Conversion (part number COR-3201331) is a complete front and rear long arm suspension system designed for 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ. This kit converts the rear suspension from leaf springs to coil springs, delivering a superior ride quality and dramatically improved flex. Designed to run 35-inch tires with some fender trimming due to the extreme flex this kit produces. Made in the USA.
Important Installation Notes:
- Welding and cutting is required to install this lift kit — intended for experienced builders or a high-end fabrication shop
- A custom exhaust is required
- A SYE kit and CV-style driveshaft are required
- Moving the e-brake bracket may be necessary on certain model years
- Skid plate requires drilling and tapping for the 1" hardware
- Rear coil conversion crossmember requires fully drilling through two holes for the 4" bolts to pass through
- Shocks are not included — Bilstein 5100s are recommended
