The Fox Performance Series 2.0 Remote Reservoir Smooth Body Shock (part number 985-24-174) is engineered specifically for 2017-and-up Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks in the rear position, designed for stock to 1-inch of lift.

Construction: The shock body is a 2.0" impact extruded, clear-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, which dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel body shock. The external reservoir is a 2.0" smooth bore, hard-anodized 6061-T6 aluminum unit that increases oil and nitrogen capacity for improved fade resistance. All components including the reservoir mounting clamp are CNC machined from black-anodized 6061-T6 billet aluminum.

Shaft & Sealing: The shaft is 5/8" hard chrome plated, heat-treated alloy steel. A redundant sealing pack system includes a main seal, wiper seal, and scraper seal for long-term durability.

Performance: A race-developed high-flow damping piston is paired with application-specific valving tuned for the F-250/F-350 Super Duty rear suspension. Quiet nitrile rubber bushings allow for increased suspension articulation.
