PSC's Cylinder Assist Steering Kits are designed to provide improved steering control and reduced steering system load in demanding off-road conditions while maintaining predictable handling on the street.
This kit is built for Jeep YJ models equipped with AMC 4.2L (258ci), 2.5L (150ci), or 304 engines and is well suited for vehicles running 32-37" tires. The steering gear features increased torque output to help manage larger tires and challenging terrain, while the Cylinder Assist helps reduce feedback transmitted through the steering system.
Designed around PSC components that work together as a complete system, this kit includes a steering gear, Cylinder Assist, pump, brackets, and hose assemblies. The pump is designed to work with the factory pulley and serpentine belt system, and the components are engineered for proper fitment and reliable performance on and off the trail.
