OX Locker is a selectable locking differential: a driver-operated shift fork and ring design, similar to a manual transmission, that switches between normal open-differential handling on the road and 100% lock for traction off-road. The internal engagement is always the same fully mechanical mechanism regardless of how it's actuated, cable, air (80-120 PSI, optimal at 85 PSI), or electric, so you get on-demand control instead of the always-on engagement of an automatic locker.
Each unit is built from forged components in a 4-pinion design, with draft-angled engagement teeth that seat tighter as torque increases so the lock won't disengage under load. Installation needs no internal plumbing or housing modification, there's no break-in period, and most applications run on standard stock bearings. OX has built selectable lockers for over two decades around a "reliability through simplicity" philosophy, and every unit carries a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
