A pre-loaded spring sees less rate increase as the suspension travels, so the car stays more consistent through the corner.

As an example, a 150 lb./in. spring can be pre-loaded to 400 lbs. at ride height but still only increases at 150 lb./in. as the suspension moves. The entire unit can also be swapped for another unit with a different rate spring pre-installed, allowing spring rate changes without affecting ride height.

Features and Benefits:

Allows a softer spring rate pre-loaded at ride height

Less rate increase as the suspension travels

Swap complete units to change spring rate without affecting ride height

Includes a thrust bearing set

Sized for a 14 Inch tall spring

Fits most shocks

Fitment Notes:

Requires a 3 Inch inside diameter spring

Sized for a 14 Inch tall spring

Fits most shocks and is commonly used on the rear coil-overs

Details:

Spring Height: 14 Inch

Spring Inside Diameter: 3 Inch

Material: Aluminum

Finish: Black Anodized

Includes: Thrust Bearing Set

Note: The unit is typically installed with the slotted inner half towards the shock body.
